I have a ceramic-top stove. You need to clean it occasionally by using a buffing compound on it. Being a man, I read the directions before using it:
Apply liberally... Wipe of excess.
I've seen that on other containers of course, but this time I thought about what that really meant:
Apply more than is needed. Waste what's left.
Kind of sums them up once again, doesn't it?
