Making the Move

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I am officially bailing out of Blogger.

As of today, I will no longer be posting here. My posts can now be found at the new Exile From Hillary's Village.

The site is far from finished, but it works well enough. I still have to set up my Trophy Room before I go hunting trolls again, among other things.

To those of you who link to me, I would greatly appreciate it if you would change the link to reflect the new address: http://www.village-exile.com.

Thanks all. See ya at the new spot!

Let's Make a Deal

Does somebody want to give me an example of negotiations ever stopping a war and averting more bloodshed?

I may not be a history major, but I know more than most. Let's take only the wars that America has been involved in for example.

  • The Revolution? Nope, had to defeat the British.
  • War of 1812? Nope, had to defeat the British. Again.
  • Civil War? Nope, had to defeat the Confederates.
  • Spanish-American war? Had to defeat them, too.
  • WW I? Defeated them.
  • WW II? Ditto.
  • Korea? Negotiated an armistice, but only because Korea and a billion Chinese were arrayed against us and we didn't commit completely. Technically, that war never ended and is still in cease-fire mode today. And how many have died in North Korea since then?
  • Vietnam? The firsy politically correct war. The only reason that we didn't crush the North Vietnamese (i.e. "defeated" them) was because our troops' hands were tied by the politicians. And 1 million dead Vietnamese, and the refugees created by rhe Communist takeover after we bailed out, will tell you that negotiating an end to the conflict certainly didn't avert more bloodshed.
  • Grenada? Not much of a war, but defeated them.
  • Gulf War? Stomped on them and defeated them.
  • Iraq war? Defeated the Iraqi army. In the process of defeating the leftovers and fanatics.
  • Does anyone see a trend here?

These wars were between secular governments, and they only negotiated after one side was defeated (there's that "D" word again!). What makes the Left think that there's the slightest chance that negotiations would work when dealing with absolute religious fanatics who haven't been defeated yet?

As usual, they haven't thought about it. It just sounds right, so it has to be right. Right?

Only if you're an emotional child with no ability to actually think.

    Stop Being a Pain!

What the hell is wrong with these damned Jews? Why won't they just go quietly and let themselves be exterminated? After all, they went quietly for Hitler! Why do they have to be so belligerent now?

Especially when you consider that the Muslims have left-wing minority/victim status. Oh, I know that there are 500 million Muslims against 6 million Jews in the Mideast, but it's just plain racism! They let themselves be killed by the millions when it was a white, European guy who was killing them, but when it's a "person of color" like the Muslims, they actually fight back!

Besides, as long as we on the Left believe in your cause, you can be a majority and still be a minority/victim group. Just ask the women in America.

That is truly what the Left believes should happen. Jaques Chirac, Vladimir Purin, the vast majority of the UN and all of the rest of the Left think that it's downright rude of the Jews to actually defend themselves! They're hurting the self-esteem of the Muslims, for Allah's sake!

After all, I'm sure that these peace-loving Muslims don't really mean it when they say that they want to "wipe the Jews off the face of the earth", or "annihilate The Zionists" It's just rhetoric!

(I actually heard not one, but two liberals say that on the radio after I wrote that! They don't believe anyone could possibly be that evil. Well, except for Conservatives.)

Not only do the Jews have tha audacity to be Jewish, but they blatantly live in a Democracy! And wherever there is a Democracy, there is that much less of a chance for their Communist Utopia. And if Israel kicks Hezbollah and Syria out of Lebanon. well, there's another Democracy!

Not to mention the one that's budding next door in Iraq! This Democracy thing is getting out of hand! It's no wonder the Left is in such a panic.

So what are the Israelis supposed to do? Why, sit down and negotiate, of course. Well, here's a sample of what the negotiations will be like:

Muqtar: "If you promise to cease all resistance and commit suicide, we will stop trying to kill you."

    Moshe: "That is not acceptable."

Muqtar: "Death to the Jew!!! Death to the infidel!!! Death, death, death!!!"

What does Israel have to lose? Only their very existence.

    A Little Help

We need to give them whatever help is necessary to finally rid their country of Hezbollah and Syrian influence for good.

Trying to defuse the violence, which began when Hezbollah captured two Israeli soldiers and killed eight others in a cross-border raid, Lebanon's prime minister indicated he might send his army to take control of southern Lebanon from Hezbollah — a move that might risk civil war.

    ...

The Western-backed prime minister, criticizing both Israel and Hezbollah, also pledged to reassert government authority over all Lebanese territory, suggesting his government might deploy the Lebanese army in the south, which Hezbollah effectively controls.

    Live From Beirut

This is kind of fascinating. It's a blow-by-blow account of what's happening in Lebanon from a person in Beirut (who's not real happy about what Hizbollah is doing).

What strikes me are the repeated statements that people over there are celebrating and congratulating each other. They're getting the living Hell beaten out of them, with worse to come, and they're too stupid to realize what is coming their way.

Is it possible for such a large part of an entire culture to be stupid and suicidal?

Oh, wait. We have the Left, don't we?

    Thanks, Israel

Israel could be doing our efforts in Iraq a huge favor.

If Syria's government is preoccupied with the little problem that they may be looking at their own demise, they may be less likely to help the ""Religion of Pieces" terrorists sneaking into Iraq across their border to fight us and the Iraqis.

And if the pig terrorists think that they may have a chance to kill Jews, which is even better than killing Americans in their eyes, they might just want to hang around Syria and wait for the attack instead of going to Iraq.

And if Syria is taken out completely as a base for terrorists, the load on us and the Iraqis is lessened even more, and permanently.

Not only has supporting Israel been the right thing to do all these years, but it may pay off rather nicely in this case.

    Feeling Lonely?

Has anyone looked at a map of the Mideast? If Lebanon is taken out of the picture, Syria has, quite literally, no friends on any of its borders. At least none friendly enough to help them, I'd bet.

Turkey to the North, Jordan to the south. Both are pretty moderate for Muslim countries, and I doubt that they're very happy about Syria's part in plunging the mideast into this war by suppporting Hezbollah.

I doubt that they're fans of Israel, but I think that keeping their ties to The United States is more important to them than is helping Syria. I'd bet that they sit this one out.

Then, of course, they have Iraq to their east, with 130,000 well-armed American soldiers sitting there. I'm sure that we could spare a couple platoons to send over there if the need arose.

And if Lebanon is denied to them, they no longer have a direct link to Israel's border. Blockade their coast and they are cut off completely.

    They're screwed.

    Nervous?

You'd be nervous, too, if you just found out that Israel already considers you dead.

    Isn't This Obvious?

I have some free advice for the Palestinians, and others who have vowed to destroy Israel, who whine when their women and children are killed because Israel is targeting the terrorists in their midst:

QUIT ALLOWING THESE TERRORISTS TO BE IN YOUR MIDST!!!

If, as is so often stated, these terrorists are such a small percentage of the population, you vastly outnumber them and can keep them away. If you really want to.

Don't allow them in your country. Don't allow them in your city. Don't allow them in your neighborhood. And certainly don't let them use your house for their meetings, which is what happened in the last Israeli attack. If your women and children die because you won't keep them away, don't whine. You get what you deserve.

If you ask nicely and they won't stay away, kill them. You can always say that they were defiling the Muslim religion. If that's really what you believe.

These people are intentionally targeting and killing innocent Israeli citizens. What do you expect Israel to do? Just let these terrorists in your midst comtinue killing them with no repercussions? Do you expect them to not get pissed-off and hunt these animals down?

And when the Israeli's do find and kill these pigs, if they are not in your midst, your women and children won't be harmed, will they?

Unless, of course, you agree with the terrorists.

    RIP Syd

We lost one of the greatest (and oddest) minds of Rock music today.

Syd Barrett, one of the founders of Pink Floyd has passed away. His descent into insanity helped created some of the most amazing music ever written.

When you rise your eyes catch up with the sun but it's sinking.

Racing around to come up behind you again.

The sun is the same, in a relative way, but you're older.

Religion Would Be OK, If It Didn't Tell Me What to Do

Back in the late 1960's and early 70's there were a whole bunch of hippies singing about God.

George Harrison was singing about "My Sweet Lord" (although somehow Hare Krishna got mixed in with the Lord part).

Norman Greenbaum was singing about the "Spirit in the Sky" (that is, apparently, Norman's own website).

If you know anything about the music of that time, I'm sure that you can think of many more.

Why were they singing about religion? Because, quite frankly, humans yearn for things to make sense, to have a purpose. Thus, God.

Back then, most of them didn't realize that they were being manipulated by the Communists, and so they tried to make "the God thing" work. The Leftist hippies explored religion in all of it's facets, trying to reconcile their desire for a "religious experience" with their lifestyle. And, as all Leftists eventually find out, it can't be done.

They tried Buddhism, they tried Taoism, they tried Hinduism, they tried Islam, they tried Animism...they even tried (gasp) Christianity.

But they eventually had to give up the search because religion always tells you how to live your life, and those on the Left can't stand that. Hell (pun intended), even Satanism tells you how to live your life!

Religion speaks of right and wrong. It speaks of self-control and giving up your self-will. It speaks of losing your self-centeredness and letting God (or Gods) run your life. It speaks of humility. It speaks of a power greater than yourself. It speaks of doing for others with no expectation of reward in any form, including feeling good about oneself (or, at least, Christianity does) .

None of which can exist in the childish, selfish world of the Left.

Don't you understand? They were told for their entire childhood what to do! That wasn't fair! And now that they (think that they) are adults, nobody will tell them what to do ever again! They don't have to listen to anybody!

Remember: these people are, emotionally, children. They never grew up.

And so, since the early '70's, you have their rejection of all religions. They may seem to be sympathetic towards, say, Islam. But if Islam were the majority religion in this country, they'd hate that, too. At least until a few of them had their heads sawed off.

The younger Leftists of today know nothing of this. They've just been told by those that have come before them that religion is evil (how's that for an oxymoron?). They've never really thought about 'why'. Like all good Lefties, they just believe what they're told.

To do otherwise would get them kicked out of the collective. It may be a collective of misfits, but it's better than being alone.

    Same as it Ever Was...

    Consider the Left of today.

The absolute, vicious hatred of those who disgree with them.

    Their paranoia and conspiracy-theories.

Their complete obsession with power at all costs.

Their easy willingness to destroy their ideological opponents; personally, if not (yet) physically.

Does any of that sound familiar? Draw it all out to it's logical conclusion, and you have Stalin's Soviet Union.

Read some of the Left-wing blogs and tell me if you think these people are any different than the ones who murdered tens-of-millions of their fellow countrymen for no other reason than they threatened their power or disagreed with them.

There is only one difference, and that is the fact that those on the Left today are absolutely gutless. And that is the one thing that is saving us from an actual civil-war in this country. They are vicious only when there is absolutely no physical threat to them. Courage to them is going on a talk-show in front of millions of people and whining about "Bush's" infringement of their free speech (and not seeing how stupid that is).

If they thought that they could win an actual physical conflict, they wouldn't hesitiate.

    Good Eeevening!

How long do you think it'll take before the Left comes up with a conspiracy-theory that Ken Lay staged his own death to avoid serving jail time?

Hell, I guarantee you that it's happened already.

Like Karl Rove, Ken Lay is a vampire to the Left. Nothing so ordinary as a heart-attack could take this man out. It's just too much of a coincidence!

    Wait and see.

    Just Too Busy

I'm stuck here at the cabin in the 'Great North Woods', sitting on the porch with my feet up, nice breeze coming through the woods, reading a good book (The Journals of Ayn Rand), thinking of throwing some steaks on the grill...

Sorry. Just too busy to blog right now. Maybe tomorrow.

    Uhh...What Was the Question?

Yesterday on Michael Medved's radio show, J.D. Hayworth was the substitute host while Michael was on vacation.

Mr. Hayworth asked a simple question: what could the Democrat Party do to become a strong, legitimate party again, instead of the left-wing, conspiracy-theory party that stands for nothing more than "we hate Bush!"? He then opened up the phone lines for Democrats to call in and answer the question.

For an entire hour, caller after caller did what Democrats do: they attacked Bush and Conservatives in general, and spoke about what was "wrong" with Republicans.

Not one of them came close to answering the question. The fascinating part is that I got the distinct impression that they thought they were answering the question!

Today on Mr. Medved's show, Michael had on a guy named Bob Kunst, who runs a website devoted to (what else?) Hillary running for President.

During the conversation, Mr. Kunst, almost in passing, alluded to the "fact" that President Bush was responsible for the deaths of 2 million Americans because he didn't "fix" the health care system in this country.

Michael stopped the nutjob and asked him, "What orifice did you pull that number out of?"

Mr. Kunst said something to the effect of, "Well that's the figure that's out there."

Michael asked him, again, where he had gotten that number.

Mr. Kunst said that "100,000 people a year die" because George Bush didn't lie down and implement "Hillarycare".

Michael asked him where he got that number, whereupon the subject was, as usual, changed until they had to go to a commercial break.

As with the callers the day before, I didn't get the feeling that Mr. Kunst was avoiding the question. I think that he thought that he was answering it! He was confused. He didn't understand the question.

It's like someone asking you "what color is blue?" To him the "fact" that Bush's policies "killed" 2,000,000 people was self-evident. That is what the number is. Blue is blue and Bush killed 2 million people. Duh!

In other words, it's the number that has been repeated to him a thousand times by his fellows on the anti-Bush Left and, therefore, it is as true as any law of nature.

It's just more evidence of their groupthink. More evidence of their hive mentality. More evidence that they have completely lost the ability to debate, because they've lost the ability to think independently. More evidence that, though some of them may be intelligent, none of them have used that intelligence to learn how to think.

In their world, independent thinking is frowned upon. It's not just that if one thinks independently he may commit an embarrasing faux pas, but it's actually dangerous in their world (witness Larry Summers of Harvard).

A person could be banished from the collective. And they can think of nothing worse.

    Is That All?

After 3 years of the Left screaming about us finding "no weapons of mass destruction", the story of us having found 500 shells filled with mustard gas and Sarin was apparently only worth about half-a-day in the MSM. I heard many of the usual Lefty suspects say things to the effect of, "500 shells does not a stockpile make".

When Saddam Hussein gassed the Kurds in the town of Halabja in March 1988, he used 3 shells, which killed 5,000 people. Yes, that's right: 3 shells. 5,000 people.

Anyone want to do the math for these Lefties and tell them how many people 500 of these shells could kill?

    Here's a hint: (500/3) * 5000 = ?

    Class? Anyone?

    Here We Go Again

Instead of jumping right back into this, methinks I'll just repost a couple of my first posts. I've been away for awhile so maybe we should all revisit my theory on Liberalism. Most of you will have read this, but some may not have.

Hopefully Blogger won't eat them. Again.

    Liberalism explained

I've been putting this post off long enough. It's long and I could go on forever because the examples are so numerous, but it explains every liberal position perfectly.

Liberals are really very easy to figure out. Go hang out in any elementary school for a while and you'll see the exact same behavior. Liberals are nothing more than people whose emotional state hasn't progressed beyond childhood. You'll see that theme pointed out over and over again throughout this blog. It is, in fact, one of the main themes of this blog.

    A few examples.

What do liberals hate more than anything? Why, unfairness, of course. To them everything must be fair. The rich have too much money and the poor don't have enough. Everyone should have the same amount of everything no matter how hard they've worked. Oddly enough, my five-year-old daughter has the same viewpoint. So do Communists. Apparently my daughter is a Communist. I suppose all children are Communists if you think about it.I've heard a lot of conservatives mistake liberals' attitudes for communism. Liberals aren't communists except in the sense that the equal distribution of wealth seems like a good idea to someone who is, emotionally, six years old. What six-year-old doesn't want other kids' candy/taxes shared with him? In fact, the theory of communism is itself rooted in the mindset of a six-year-old. Karl Marx was, obviously, emotionally stunted.

If only that poor person had as much money as that mechanic, life would be good. It doesn't matter that the bum chose to spend his life doing nothing while the mechanic learned a trade. It doesn't matter if that welfare mom chose to have four kids and spend her life sitting on the couch watching 'Jerry Springer' while the carpenter got up at 5:00 A.M. every morning and went to work. They should still have the same amount of everything.

Speaking of "unfairness", I've heard more than a few liberals criticize America because our big, strong army went into poor, little Iraq and beat the hell out of their army.

These same people incessantly mouth the words, "We support the troops", but they'd apparently rather have the enemy's army be the same strength as ours so that we'd lose just as many troops as they do. Apparently what they mean is that they support the enemy's troops.

Obviously nobody ever told these people that life isn't fair. Some people just naturally have more brains, talent and/or ambition than others.

That's the one big reason that Communism has failed and always will fail. The more intelligent and ambitious will always try to get ahead of others. Always. It's hard-wired into us over thousands of years of evolution.

For people who are so convinced of Evolution's truth, they sure don't seem to put much stock in it.

Of course, they don't see the hypocrisy, because that's another trait of both libs and children. As one local radio show here says, liberals can't link. They can't see connections between actions.

Then again, they don't much care whether evolution is the truth or not, as long as they can use it to put down religion.

Of course they hate religion. It speaks about "right" and "wrong". Just like my daughter, these people can't stand being told that they're wrong. Which is the same reason they hate people who are "judgmental".

And, of course, once again they can't see the link between calling Conservatives "evil", "mean-spirited", "warmongers", "greedy", etc. and being judgmental. That is their judgment of me, but they really can't see it.

Just calling someone "judgmental" is a judgment!

Another manifestation of liberals' inability to see connections, is there inability to foresee consequences.

Just as a child doesn’t think about the consequences of throwing a rock through a window, the liberals don’t think about the consequences of their actions. They think things out to the point where they feel good, and then they stop. They never think beyond that.

Take welfare, for example. Giving poor people other people’s money made the liberals feel good. (STOP THINKING HERE IF YOU’RE A LIBERAL). They never thought about what would happen if you paid people not to work.

40 years and 3 TRILLION dollars later and the poverty rate is exactly the same as it used to be. The only difference is that now our crime rate and illegitimacy rate has skyrocketed!

This was Democrat Lyndon B. Johnson’s “War on Poverty”. To paraphrase Ann Coulter, his war in Vietnam went a lot better.

    Another example? OK.

Just today, a couple of days after President Bush's 2nd inauguration, the evil, right-wing-extremist radio program that I was listening to played a tape recording of a bunch of protestors.

It occurred to me that these protestors' chants sounded an awful lot like the nursery rhymes my daughter likes to chant."

Hey, hey, ho, ho, (your cause here) has got to go" really isn't that different than "Ring around the Rosie, pocketful of posies".

"Like father, like son, one term and Bush is done" (Heh).

"Peter, Peter pumpkin eater, had a wife and couldn't keep her".

They're short, they're easy to memorize, they rhyme, they're kind of fun to say, they don't take a whole lot of thought...you get the picture. If you listen to just the cadence and not the words, you can't tell the difference.

(An interesting sidenote: have you ever thought about what "Ring around the Rosie" was about? It's actually about the bubonic plague. "Ring around the rosie" was actually describing the ring that formed around the sores when one caught the plague. People used to hold flowers (posies) to their nose in the belief that it would ward off the plague. "Ashes, ashes, all fall down!" kind of speaks for itself. Just as you've probably never thought about that, liberals don't really think about what they're chanting.)

This whole "libs as kids" theory was just kind of a vague notion and almost a joke between my friends and I until the last couple of school shootings. What did they blame them on? Every child's nemesis: bullies!

That's when all of the pieces came together.

These "poor kids" killed a bunch of bullies in their schools. They deserved our sympathy, not our reprimands.

I don't think that it's a coincidence that, if you look at these liberals, you can see inside them the kids in school who were constantly picked on. They all look "off" somehow.

An old boss of mine had a theory that they were actually aliens. "Just look at them!" he'd say. "It's obvious". But I think that what he was seeing was actually just the invisible target pasted on these people. These people were all of the misfits in your school and mine.

A psychologist I once knew told me that a lot of people's emotional progression stops at a certain traumatic point in their lives. Maybe these bullies traumatized these kids to the point where, even as adults, they can't grow up.

That would also explain why my daughter's public school sends home endless fliers on the subject of bullying. The people who are running the public school system are some of the biggest liberals in the country. I'd also bet that they were picked on when they were kids.

It would also explain their whole culture of "victimhood".

I'm sure that you'll see many, many more examples as I blather on in this blog.

From now on, whenever you hear a liberal speak, think about what they're saying and try to link it to childhood behavior. Once you start seeing the pattern, you can see it in everything that they do. It's actually a lot of fun for those of us who actually think.

Silly rabbit, libs are just kids!

Well, that last post was so much fun, let's keep it going, huh? Like I said, the examples are endless and the more you figure them out the more convincing the whole theory becomes.

What's the worst thing in the world that a little kid can call someone?

    "You big dummy!"

What do Democrats and liberals call all Republicans? That's right: dummies.

It used to be that they'd just call Republican Presidents stupid. Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, Bush I, Bush II. For some reason the American people were fooled again and again into voting for complete idiots.

But in the last few years, and especially since the last election, the extreme lefties have taken over the Democrat party and now call anybody who voted for Bush a dummy. Now we're all a bunch of "knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing, gap-toothed idiots" from Red States.

It's really what they thought all along, but in years past they were at least smart enough to realize that the way to bring people to your side wasn't to call them idiots. Now the fanatics have taken over and, like the kids they are, they're throwing a tantrum because they keep losing, not realizing or caring what the consequences of that tantrum will be. Again, liberals can't link and can't look ahead to see those consequences, just as a little kid can't.

And, as kids, they don't believe what their eyes tell them. They have to look around them and see people who voted for Bush all over the place. I really doubt that these Bush people even faintly resemble idiots. But, just as kids can be convinced that Santa Claus exists despite all of the evidence to the contrary, so too can liberals believe that all Republicans are stupid. It doesn't matter what they see every say. Their leaders (read "mommy") tell them that it's so, and they couldn't possibly be wrong!

I'd be willing to bet large sums of money that if you took 50 Democrats and 50 Republicans at random and tested their IQ's, the Republicans would win, hands down. Why do I believe that? Because that's what my experience tells me. Not what Rush Limbaugh tells me.

    Alright, let's talk "environmentalists".

Awhile back I had to cut down a tree in my back yard because it was dying and killing other trees around it. When it came down, my daughter cried her little eyes out. I explained to her why it had to go, but she really didn't understand.

Shortly thereafter I was watching the local news and saw a story about a bunch of protestors who had been trying to save some trees that were in the way of rerouting a highway. Their court appeals had run out and the Sheriffs had to literally drag them away from those trees.

The footage on the news showed these people crying their little eyes out as the trees came down. No different than my daughter, who was 4 at the time.

Next: little kids will tell you the most outrageous lies right to your face and expect you to believe it. Al Gore, Bill Clinton, John Kerry, anybody?

A child will break something in the other room in a house with just the two of you in it and, when you go to find out what that 'crash' was, will deny that they did it.

Al Gore: Internet, Love Canal, Love Story, Texas fires, etc.

Bill Clinton: "I did not have sex with that woman, Monica Lewinsky", "I'll only raise taxes on the rich", "That depends on what the meaning of the word "is", is".

Hillary Clinton: Claimed to be named after Sir Edmund Hillary, even though she was born years before anyone knew who he was. "Lost" Rose lawfirm billing records for months before they just happened to show up on the dining room table.

John Kerry: Was in combat for four months (one of which would have been training) and received three purple hearts and a silver star, which would have made him the most decorated hero in American history.

Teddy Kennedy: wasn't drunk and was just giving Mary Jo a ride home when he skidded off the bridge.

The really sad thing is that so many people in this country actually believe them and defend them, which tells you where their heads are at.

Liberals need someone to take care of them (i.e. the Government) just like a kid needs his parents. Mommy and daddy are supposed to take care of them and fix everything that they don't like, just like the Government is supposed to take care of everything and fix everything (usually through one person on the court) that liberals don't like.

I'm sure that we'll get back to this subject. I'd love to hear any examples that you may have.

    Case in Point

I spent 2 hours tonight reposting a couple of my first posts to reaquaint everyone with my philosophy. In a normal world, it would have taken 20 seconds to copy and paste those words.

I posted it. It showed up. You could actually go there and read my previous posts.

They're gone now. Why? Who knows? I know more than enough about computers to know that it's not my fault.

I'll keep posting here on Blogger, the welfare system of the blogging world, as long as I have to. But these people have pissed away hours of my life.

    I'll try again tomorrow.

    Yuck

In the past 6 months that I've been away, I've forgotten how bad Blogger's supposed WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) interface sucks. It's more like "What You See Is What You Get If Nothing Goes Wrong, Which Is About 50/50" (WYSIWYGINGWWIA50/50).

Add to that the fact that Blogger is run by Google, which is run by some extreme leftists, and I don't even feel right blogging for free with these people. Group gay sex? Run that ad! Smith & Wesson? No, that's icky.

Only a bunch of Lefties could come up with such a horrible WYSIWYG interface and never try to improve upon it. They're the same people who came up with the welfare system.

During my hiatus I found that having your own website is ridiculously cheap ($25/year). And if you know HTML, which even a Lefty could learn in a few hours, you, too, can have your own website, with your own e-mail adresses (YourNameHere@YourWebsite.org). And there's software out there that could enable my grandma to write a website if you're too lazy to learn HTML.

So look for this blog to move to it's own independent address in the next few months. Once I work out the details and come up with an incredibly cool design, I'm outta here.

Anyone who cares to join me, let me know and I'll help you through it if needed. I get absolutely nothing out of this other than getting people to bail out of Blogger. Nothing but the satisfaction of removing people from these Leftist people's clutches.

    That's That, Then

It's been exactly 3 months since my last post. Doesn't seem nearly that long.

To anyone who cares or still stops in, the whole thing with my ex-wife is done for. It took awhile, but I eventually remembered why I divorced her in the first place: it wasn't her drinking problem; that was only a symptom. I seem to have forgotten that she is, quite literallly, insane. Look up "borderline personality disorder" if you care. It's never good when the psychological establishment has an actual name for your ex's problem.

Will I start blogging again? I don't know, and I can't imagine that too many people actually care anymore. I've been away for a long time and, to quote a smelly hippy, "what a long, strange trip it's been".

My life has changed significantly and, while I still think that politics and exposing the liberals is very important, I just can't figure out where I'd find the time now. Life has become extremely busy, but that's a good thing.

Maybe I'll try to post once or twice a week and see how that works. After all of this time I'll probably be speaking to myself, but that's how I started in the first place, isn't it?

Hope all of my old friends are well, and I hope all of my old trolls have finally worked themselves into the brain aneurisms that they were working towards.

    I Live!!!

To all of you who have written me lately wondering whether I'm still alive, I assure you that I am.

Unfortunately, my personal life has become so complicated and busy that I have little time to pay attention to politics and even less time to blog. While I believe that the political health of this country is probably more important than it has ever been, the prospect of reuniting my family trumps that consideration. Besides, you people can do it just as well as I can, and usually better.

To those of you who care, the reconciliation process between my ex-wife and I seems to be going better than it was, but there are still things to be worked out, and we're taking it slowly, because to do otherwise would make the whole endeavor futile.

Princess, Bob, Echo, UAW Guy, and the rest...thanks for checking in. It means a lot. Your prayers are welcome.

I'm sure that I'll be back one day. Hopefully soon, but my family and my personal life will always take precedence over whatever I think about politics.

    Rant at ya soon,

    -The Exile
