Obama is so screwed.
If he doesn't please the 10% of Marxist fanatic voters who got him elected he's screwed.
If he goes against the 90% of the real American population that disagrees with those Marxists, he's screwed.
He relied upon a group of complete, left-wing fanatics to get himself elected. They don't have the mental acuity to realize that, sometimes, compromise is necessary. Especially when your party has just been devastated in an off-year election. Like the six-year-olds that they are, they want what they want. Thinking ahead is far too adult for their tiny little minds.
I don't know which I'm enjoying more: these Lefty children throwing a tantrum because their unrealistic expectations aren't being met, or Obama's deer-in-the-headlights cluelessness now that he has lost most of his power.
And the new "Tea Party" Congress isn't even here yet.

No More, No More
Baby I'm a dreamer
Found my horse and carriage
- Aerosmith
Pass bills, let Obama veto them, repeat until 2012.

Insanity Is...
The popular definition of insanity is, "doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result."
Well, for the past 50 years we've been following the "Buckley Rule" which states that you're supposed to support the most Conservative candidate who can win. And, for the past 50 years, this country has been sliding ever closer to outright Communism.
I have no doubt that Bill Buckley was a genius but, apparently, not even he could see where that philosophy would lead us.
The flaw in the theory is that you never really know who can win. Could Mike Castle win in Delaware? Probably. But...could Christine O'Donnell win? Quite possibly. Especially if Chris Coonz's "bearded Marxist" comments get out into the general public. The country, including Delaware, has seen Marxism in action for the past 2 years and it scares the Hell out of them.
What the "Buckley Rule" has gotten us is a bunch of Democrats with an "R" next to their name. And, the farther Left that the Democrat Party slides, the farther left that the Republican Party slides. So what in the Hell is the sense in continuing that?
From now on, we need "The Exile Rule": vote for the most Conservative person in the race. Period. Polls have shown forever that this country is majority Conservative.
Why can't the likes of "political genius" Karl Rove make that simple connection?

Careful What You Wish For, Lefty
The Left spent eight years screeching about "neo-cons" and attempting to destroy them.
Well, the "neos" are on their way out, and the true "cons" are on their way in.
The Democrat Party will soon be reminiscing about the good old days of the pliable neo-cons who would "reach across the aisle" to join them instead of reaching to slap them down like the real Conservatives who are about to join the fray will be doing.
And once these Conservatives get into power. we all need to remind them how they got there, lest they fall to the siren song of Washington power like so many before them and start to "compromise" (i.e. give the Democrats what they want) with the enemy.

Says Who?
OK, I am hearing nothing but, "Christine O'Donnell can't win" in Delaware. She can't win, she can't win, she can't win...blah, blah, blah ad infinitum.
Says who? The "experts"? The "experts" only go off of what they've seen in the past. And the tectonic shift in the political world is, quite possibly, like nothing that this country has ever seen.
For the past 100 years "progressivism" (aka Communism) has been taking over this country in baby steps, occasionally making headlines, but nothing like the daily barrage of destruction that this country is seeing today. The extreme left has taken over the Democrat Party and has gone "all in" with Obama/Reid/Pelosi. They have abandoned subtlety and pounded their agenda down America's throat with a sledgehammer.
And America is horrified.
As long as the Left stuck to the "boiling frog" tactic of slowly advancing their agenda, not enough people noticed at one time to put up any resistance. But now that huge numbers of people see what Socialism really is, they want no part of it.
And, hopefully, that includes a majority of the voters in Delaware.
Can Christine O'Donnell win in Delaware? I think that it is at least very possible, if not likely.
The rules have changed amazingly fast. And we've entered an era of politics in America that is unlike anything we've ever seen.
