Regressives Don't Progress

In discussions about Bernie Sanders and Socialism, I keep hearing people bring up the examples of Norway, Sweden, Finland, etc. and how those Socialist countries are economic powerhouses and cradle-to-grave welfare paradises.

Well, not withstanding the fact that those countries are on the fast road to collapse at the moment, I think that those are the wrong countries to be using as examples. Take a look at our current Democrat Party and I'm pretty sure that their Socialist paradises would look more like The Soviet Union, China, Cambodia, etc.

Does anyone have any doubt that those on the Left in this country would have any hesitation whatsoever to round up their political enemies and ship them to camps in boxcars? Or just murder them outright?

From Black Lives Matter to Code Pink to the Gaystapo, these people have no problem whatsoever with destroying the lives of those who disagree with them. Does anyone believe that these cretins wouldn't be willing to take the next step and eliminate their enemies entirely?

They are vicious, hateful and vindictive. They are raging, emotional children who throw temper tantrums when they don't get their way. They are picked-on misfits who hate the human race - themselves included.

If the Leftist slide is allowed to continue, we won't resemble Finland. We'll resemble The Soviet Union during the purges.

Fair Trade

The Leftists are always talking about how concerned they are about the plight of poor Mexicans. The Leftists believe that we should let every Mexican who wants to come here in to the United States so that they can better their lives.

I say let the Commie bastards walk the walk. Put their money where their ridiculously big mouths are.

For every Mexican who wants to live in the United States, we'll exchange one Leftist with Mexico. Mexico can get rid of their poor, we can get rid of the Leftists who are ruining our country. Win-win.

But, of course, the Lefties aren't that concerned about poor Mexicans. Or concerned at all, really. Their "concern", as always, is just moral posturing. They really don't give a single shit about poor Mexicans - other than their voting potential.

Making any sort of sacrifice for their "beliefs" is out of the question.

Blind to Their Blindness

I am definitely not a Trump guy. I don't hate him because he's upsetting the "natural order" of things. In fact, I rather like that aspect of his campaign. I just don't trust him. He is, it seems obvious to me, a sleazy salesman who will say whatever it takes to get you to sign on the dotted line. And when the product turns out to be a piece of shit, he will just ignore you and no longer take your phone calls.

The part of the Trump phenomenon that I just can't understand are his followers.

These are, mostly, people who have for the past eight years decried Barack Obama and his cult-of-personality, fanatical followers.

And yet, the Trumpians are the exact mirror image of Obama's fanatics.

Just as Obama's followers do/did, the Trumpians not only defend Trump no matter what, they do so by attacking anyone who disagrees with them in the lowest, most childish, viscious manner possible. Their sneering term, "Cuckservative", is one of the more tame examples. But all you have to do is go to the comments section of any post that criticizes Trump - no matter how mildly - and you will see comments that would be right at home on any not-so-bright middle school kid's Facebook page.

It is absolutely no different than when Obama was running for President. But these people don't seem to see it at all. And if you point it out to them, they use the same line that all children caught being hypocrites use: "But it's different when I do it!".

The Trumpians, like the Obamians before them, are a cult. Nothing more. It is all about the Dear Leader and his "vision" for the future. This vision is completely and totally devoid of specifics and can change daily with no cognitive dissonance suffered by the followers, but that doesn't matter one bit to them.

This movement gives them a feeling of belonging and a sense of being the underdog, fighting the good fight against the authority figures. Just like any middle school child.

I keep hearing this argument that Trump's followers come from all sorts of backgrounds, educational levels and income levels. But the one thing that those polls can't measure is their emotional maturity level.

Like the Leftists who were fanatical Obama cultists (and I suspect that many of them are the same people), The Trumpians are emotionally stunted children in adult bodies who have found someone to worship. Someone who will shock their elders while they sit back and smirk knowingly.

I can see why many people think that Trumpians are morons for not seeing the similarity between their worship of Trump and the former worshiping of Obama. The fact is, they're not all stupid. Most of them are just emotionally fucked up.

My Conspiracy Theory

Sometimes I wonder if the Elites know that it's about to all come crashing down and are just holding it together until they are sure that they have what they need to survive in comfort.

It would explain why they don't seem to be worried about what the voters think anymore. Not long ago they actually pretended to care about what citizens thought so that they'd vote them back into their comfortable lifestyles.

Now it seems that they know that, soon, there will be no consequences for their corruption and they're just grabbing everything that they can before the SHTF.

Our Consciences Are Clear

At the end of the day, when we are cleaning up the blood from the terrorist attacks, we will at least be able to say, "Well, at least we didn't offend any Muslims."

Faith No More

For many years, whenever someone would make what they believed was the profound statement, "There is no difference between the two parties", I would correct them and point out the obvious (to those who actually paid attention to politics) differences between the Democrat and Republican parties.

I quit correcting them a few years ago because, while there were still differences, they were differences only in methods, not ideology.

Now I can't even say that. Even their ideology is the same: Power at all costs! Integrity be damned!

Marxo Rubio using lies to frame Ted Cruz as a liar shows just how far gone the GOPE is. I could see it coming from Donald Trump who will say whatever is needed at that particular moment to get ahead.

What is sad is that I could also see Hillary doing the same thing.

When the Republican establishment's Golden Boy uses the same sleazy tactics as the most corrupt Democrat to attack his opponent, it just shows that all differences between the parties have vanished and that they will say and do whatever they believe is necessary to acquire power.

However, if Rubio or Trump end up being the nominee, I won't stay home on election day. I will go vote just so that I can write "Ted Cruz" in the slot for President of the United States of America.

I have no second choice.

Cue the Crickets...

A school shooting. Two girls dead. Almost no coverage by the media. Silence from the gun-grabbers. Odd, don't you think? The media and gun-grabbers will usually go into hysterics and fainting spells anytime anyone is shot anywhere near a school.

So, my first thought was, "Which Democrat victim-group member did the shooting?"

Sure enough. It was, apparently, the murder-suicide of a teenage lesbian and her girlfriend. Or perhaps a girl with a crush who was rebuffed.

I guess there's nothing in the story to confirm this, and maybe I'm wrong. But the silence from the usual loud-mouthed suspects suggests that they have had the same thought.

Democrat "Logic"

I really don't like Donald Trump. Based on his past statements and actions, I don't believe a word of what he's now saying. Nobody changes that drastically that quickly. He's a huckster and a con-man.

However, if I were a Democrat, I'd be obliged to vote for him because his skin color and genitalia are the same as mine.

You really have to be a moron to be a Democrat.

But That's Different!

Marco Rubio: Obama is making these huge changes to our country. He's transforming our country. He is destroying the very basis of our country by making these huge changes. He's destroying the middle class with all of his transformations.

Oh...and we should legalize 20 million illegal criminals who have snuck into the country and are stealing jobs from Americans.

Do It Yourself Deportation

I keep hearing Democrats and Republicans saying that we can't "round up" 15 million illegal aliens and deport them.

Has it never occurred to them that we don't have to round them up? We just do what other countries do: tell the illegals that they have 30 days to get out of our country or they're going to prison when they're caught. They have, after all, broken the law.

Then begin construction of a massive prison somewhere in the desert. We could at least use some of the massive land holding of the Federal government for a useful purpose for once. We wouldn't even need to really build it. How many of these illegals do you think would risk prison to stay here?

And, when Mexico starts whining, which it inevitably will, tell them that if they refuse entry to their own citizens, it is grounds for war. We have tolerated their invasion force for far too long, and it ends now.

They will, of course, appeal to the UN, but who cares? It's about time that we kick them out of our country, too. What are they going to do? Invade us militarily? They can't field an army that is capable of anything other than selling kids into prostitution the way it is. If we withdraw our funding from them, they are finished. And there are too many people making too much money off of the UN for them to let that happen.

I'm not naive enough to think that this will ever happen. Our rulers in the Democrat and Republican parties would be horrified by the thought.

My point is that every time that they say that we can't "round up" all of these illegals, that they are knowingly lying to you. They know full well that it wouldn't require rounding up any illegals other than the one who are stupid enough to stay.

It can be done. Your rulers just don't want it to be done.

I Have Met The Enemy...

Some of the things that Republican establishment types have said about Trump supporters:

• Ill-informed and ungrammatical
• Genteel quasi-racists
• Disgruntled

Funny, but these are the same words that the Left uses to describe those on the Right.

When you're using the same words as your "enemy" to describe a group of people, perhaps you should realize that you have become your "enemy".

They Just Don't Get It

All of those GOPE pundits who are so terrified of Donald Trump that they're lashing out at his "supporters"as a bunch of low-information hicks and morons just don't get it.

We don't exactly support Trump - at least not in the usual way. While we agree with much of what he's saying, we're not dumb enough to believe that it's much more than lip-service. Saying what he needs to say for the nomination. No different than any other politician.

No, for us who are loving the spectacle of Boehner and McConnell and the rest of the GOPE flailing around in a panic over Trump, our attitude can be best explained as such:

Donal Trump is our way of saying, "Fuck off!" to the GOPE.
